When it comes to outdoor activities—especially in our climate—weather is naturally a factor that must be taken into account. Our operations are primarily conducted outdoors all year round, 365 days a year, which has given us a slightly different perspective on weather.
After many years of working in outdoor environments, and with extensive experience of both good and bad weather, we understand the impact weather can have on an experience. A day on board in snow and wind, followed by a warming sauna and a great dinner, often offers an experience that is just as powerful and memorable as a day in bright sunshine.
Although “bad weather” often adds an extra dimension to our experiences, we do not challenge the forces of nature. To ensure the best possible experience, we adapt our activities to the prevailing weather conditions. We do not cancel activities due to bad weather or strong/no wind unless we assess that there could be a safety risk in carrying out a specific activity.
But if the weather is to badfor a land based activity you can change to one of our indoor activities.

It is important for participants to be properly dressed. As the person making the booking, it is equally important to inform participants about the recommended clothing. Clothing—especially suitable footwear—should be adapted to the activities and weather conditions. An extra warm sweater can also be useful during the colder months of the year.
On board our boats, we provide all guests with wind- and waterproof outerwear or warm flotation suits.
