RIB Seal Safari

Unforgettable nature experience in the outer archipelago

RIB Sälsafari small

Imagine a vast horizon where the sea stretches endlessly beyond the reach of the eye. Here, in the rugged and untouched nature of the outer archipelago, an adventure awaits that brings you up close to our most impressive marine animals – the seals.

During the seal safari, we take you on an unforgettable journey to remote, tranquil islets where nature reveals itself in all its raw beauty. It is here, on sun-warmed rocks, that you’ll have the chance to get up close to the majestic grey seal – a species that has seen great success in recent years and now thrives more than ever in our waters.

Witnessing these impressive giants, weighing up to 300 kilos, basking lazily in the sun is a powerful experience. Reaching up to 2.5 meters in length and living for over 40 years, the seal is a true icon of our wild archipelago.

You’ll have the chance to observe them up close as they lounge on the rocks or slowly glide through the water. It’s an experience that gives you a true sense of being one with nature, far from the noise of everyday life.

To make the tour even more memorable, you can combine it with lunch or dinner at a charming archipelago restaurant - and for the ultimate experience, add an extra hour at the restaurant to enjoy the moment even longer, for just 2.000 SEK per boat.

Prices are based on departure from or return to Stockholm. If you require other locations, the price may be subject to change.

FAQ -RIB

Here we’ve gathered the most common questions – with quick and clear answers.

  • No special clothing is required apart from comfortable shoes. You will be provided with a flotation suit or shell clothing by us.
  • All our boats accommodate 12 passengers plus crew.

  • Our RIBs are equipped with dual chart plotters and radar, making it possible to operate in darkness or fog. Our guests are provided with flotation suits, beanies, goggles, and gloves that protect against rain and wind. Rain or snow is no obstacle for us or our passengers. The boats are built and approved for strong winds and rough seas.

That said, most of our tours take place within sheltered waters, where conditions are rarely severe. We do not cancel our boat tours due to bad weather or strong/no wind unless there is an obvious safety risk.

  • A little spray can occur, but you won’t get wet unless it’s raining.

  • If you are more than 12 people, we are happy to arrange additional RIB boats, or you can add our T40, combat boat, or Mentor for an even greater experience. If you wish, we can switch halfway through so that everyone gets to experience all boat types.

The price is the same regardless of boat type.
